**MUST: Be able to relocate within the region. Starting salary up to 50,000 annually. 3-5 years management required. BS degree not required, but is preferable.**
Managers Trainees:
We bring individuals into our management training program with a least two years of college or two years of management to master ALL aspects of our business. Normal progression would be Manager Trainee, Sales Manager, and Customer Account Manager. These positions are interchangeable as you go through training.
Your GOAL is to complete all steps in the training program and demonstrate through exceptional performance you have the skills to be promoted to Store General Manager.
*Basic Function:
Assisting the Store in lease agreement renewal. Manages the sales and marketing function in an Aaron's store. Major emphasis on telephone and floor sales, direct marketing, new customer growth, customer service program and store merchandising
*Reporting:
Reports directly to the General Manager
*Primary Responsibilities:
• The Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers
• Direct immediate contact with customers who have not renewed their Lease agreement(s)
• Act as a customer counselor who resells the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments
• Clean and certify merchandise in the Certification Zone for all items personally returned
• Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily
• Document all customer promises and update customer information in the store computer system
• Assist with merchandise returns and customer deliveries as directed by GM
• Other tasks as assigned by management
• Safely operates company vehicle
• Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle
• Maintain updated customer information
• Monitor and recommend payment frequency changes to the General Manager
• Monitor the accuracy of customer classifications according to customer payment history and habits
• Payment frequency changes to General Manager based on customer payment history
• Recommend the use of extensions and rebuilds to the General Manager for endorsement
• Facilitate non-renewal returns authorized by GM
• Review and close lease agreements with customers as 2nd up
• No holes policy
• Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customers' signature on lease agreements
*Position requires:
Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and "dollying" merchandise 50-300 pounds
