Drivers will travel an average of 1500-2100 miles per week and be home evenings. Drivers will be home every weekend.
Basic Function
This position is responsible for merchandise handling such as loading, securing, delivering, setting up, troubleshooting, and demonstrating. Reviewing lease agreements is also occasionally required.
Reporting
Reports directly to the General Manager (or Shipping Manager)
Primary Responsibilities
· The Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers Verify correct product and accessories for delivery or return
· Ensure that all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery
· Review necessary information sheets
· Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle
· Ensure that delivery schedule is followed
· Safely operate delivery vehicle
· Document all vehicle movement on daily route sheets
· Conduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met
· Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a current Class A CDL
· Must be 21 years
· Must have a very clean MVR
· Must pass national criminal background check
· Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
· Must pass national criminal background check
· Must have good references and pass required testing
