Basic Function
This position is responsible for merchandise handling such as loading, securin and delivering.
Reporting
Reports directly to the Service center General Manager
Primary Responsibilities
· The Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers.
Class A CDL
Clean driving record
Ability to pass DOT physical
Overnight routes
Use of a hand truck - dolly
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Good DOT record keeping
Attention to detail
Good customer service skills
Organizational skills
Knowledge of Texas roads a plus
Mon- Fri (typically a 4 day week)
Ability to work OT as needed
Dependable and reliable
Verify correct product and accessories for delivery or return
· Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle
· Ensure that delivery schedule is followed
· Safely operate delivery vehicle
· Document all vehicle movement on daily route sheets
· Conduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met
· Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a current Class A CDL
· Must be 21 years
· Must have a very clean MVR
· Must pass national criminal background check
· Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
· Must pass national criminal background check
· Must have good references and pass required testing
