Basic Function
Provides day to day leadership for warehouse. Responsibilities include; providing leadership to ensure all operational guidelines, ensuring safety compliance and protocols are adhered to, maintaining productivity standards, continuous improvement and new ways of operating through effective use of people systems and equipment.
Reporting
Reports directly to the General Manager
Primary Responsibilities
- Closely monitors and analyzes productivity of the work site to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensures all inventory is maintained and accurately reported. Maintain or enhance inventory control systems that will improve material flow and track inventory accuracy.
- Communicate and support all operational initiatives and programs to foster a culture focused on safety and productivity.
- Ensures cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Monitors performance and development of delivery drivers.
- Ensure compliance of employees to all corporate policies and procedures and safety standards.
Position requires
Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and "dollying" merchandise 50-300 pounds
